My name is Grace and I work for the charity Kids which is commissioned by Norfolk County Council to deliver support for parent carers of neurodivergent children.

We run a range of online and in-person workshops and meet-ups and I have attached our Autumn Term programme - all events are free and open to parent carers. If their children are on a diagnostic waiting list they are also more than welcome to access our service.

Our sessions focus on:

Developing fundamental movement and ball skills
Building confidence and teamwork
Encouraging enjoyment and participation for all abilities
Promoting physical activity and healthy habits

Youth Engagement Project 2026

We'd love to invite your pupils and their families to SlopeFest, Norfolk Snowsports Club's open weekend, taking place from Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th September.

SlopeFest is a celebration to kick off the winter season, with something for everyone, whether they've skied before or are looking to give it a go for the very first time.

Across the weekend we'll have:

🛟 Tubing (ages 6+) 
🛍️ Craft Fayre & Second-Hand Sale 
🏂 Freestyle Session featuring the Busseys Airbag and Pond Skim 
👕 SnowFit Fashion Show 
Plus demonstrations, family activities and plenty more! 
It's a fantastic opportunity for children to experience snowsports in a fun, friendly environment and discover a new hobby that they can enjoy all year round.

Dear Headteacher,

Stay & Play in October Half-term

We wondered if you might be willing to share our Communication Stay & Play information with families who may benefit during the October half-term.

Following the success of our summer groups, we are delighted to be offering two Stay & Play sessions led by our experienced Speech and Language Therapists:

Wednesday 28th October & Thursday 29th October
10:00am - 11:30am

These small-group sessions are designed to support children’s speech, language and communication skills through fun, interactive, play-based activities. Parents and carers join their child and have the opportunity to observe strategies, ask questions and receive practical advice to support communication skills.

Families can attend one or both sessions, depending on what works best for them.

£35 per child- one sibling can attend free of charge.

Families who receive Norfolk County Council Short Breaks funding can also use their funding to book these sessions.

The sessions take place at our dedicated clinic in the beautiful grounds of Norwich Cathedral.

Cancellation Policy

We know life can get busy and inevitably you will need to rearrange an appointment every so often.  We will always be happy to help find a new time to suit you.  We will then offer the appointment time you cannot make to someone else, so we ask that you let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

If you do not attend or cancel with less than 24 hours notice we will ask you to pay for your appointment as it would be very difficult to fill your appointment slot with this short notice.  Of course if you or your child are ill, exceptions can be made.
