Tivetshall - Headteacher's Update

Posted on 31st Aug 2020

Dear families,

I hope you have all had a safe and happy summer break, in what has obviously been unusual and uncertain times. The staff and I are very much looking forward to welcoming back the children for the start of the new academic year on Monday 7th September.

We were delighted and proud that at the end of the very-much interrupted summer term we were able to welcome back all of the children. This will make a big difference I believe to how we settle back into the school year. The staff have been very busy preparing for the new term and creating opportunities for the children to flourish and thrive both academically and socially. We have new resources to support teaching and learning and a different way of delivering the curriculum, which we are all excited about.

There will be another letter before the children return to school on Monday with an overview of the systems and protocols that we have put in place to ensure that it is as safe and secure as possible. We want to make sure that the information that we send out to you is as up-to-date as it can be. However, if you have any questions in the meantime then do please let me know.

Very best wishes

Mark Carlyle
